There she goes again…
She walked gracefully through the streets, as if her feet were as light as air. Her luscious (y/c) locks shined in the sun and I wished I could reach out and touch… but…
I didn’t know her, and neither did she know me.
I watched her walk down to her favorite spot in the park and sit as she sipped on her tea, her cute little mittened hands gripping the small thermos. She then smiled as she enjoyed the scenery, which made me look around just so I could see what she was looking at.
Winter was finally receding, and the park was showing some evidence of the fact, with little spurts of bright green showing through the shrinking patches of snow. Her beautiful (y/c) eyes finally settled on some early tulips. They were a cheery pink and red, but I really wanted to tell her…
“... miss, those flowers don’t compare to your beauty…”
“Ve…” I sighed as I reluctantly turned my eyes away from her to continue my work. I rolled up my sleeves as I grabbed bunches of flowers from the buckets I had in the fridge and put them on my work table.
Then I had a brilliant idea. I began taking flowers out of the pile and fashioning a little bouquet. Asters- for love, Acacia- secret love, and white carnations- for she was sweet and lovely. I put some baby’s breath in it for an artistic affect, and wrapped it up with some florist’s tape. I admired it. It was a pretty little bouquet, but it was full of meaning.
“Now to give it to the bella…” I said happily to myself. But to my surprise, I looked out across the street and saw…
She wasn’t there.
I wasn’t given any time to be disappointed, since the bell chimed, alerting me to the fact that I finally had customers.
“Hey, Feliciano, it’s us,” it was Ludwig and Kiku.
I sighed and waved half-heartedly as I went back behind the counter. They looked at each other, clearly surprised at my reaction. We were going out for our monthly lunch, and today we were having pasta… but I didn’t feel like eating right now.
Ludwig sighed and flipped over the open sign so that it said closed. He and kiku pulled up some stools and looked at me.
I tried to ignore them as I clipped some roses for yet another flower arrangement. The bouquet still sat on the counter.
“This one looks nice,” Ludwig commented, as Kiku nodded.
“mm…” I grunted, not bothering to even look at them.
“I rooks reallry different from the ones you usualrry make.”
I continued to ignore them, but tears threatened to sneak out. I tried to quickly wipe
the tears from my face as I turned my back to my friends.
“I’m buying this.” Ludwig said out of nowhere.
I spun around, surprised. “That’s not for-a sale.” I said, trying my hardest to stare back into my friend’s serious eyes.
“Is that how you treat your customers, Feliciano?” he said stubbornly as he took a card an began writing on it.
“Ludwig... I said it wasn’t for-a sale…!” I began to wring my hands. Even though I wasn’t able to give it to her, that didn’t mean I was just going to give it away…!
He ignored me and put some money into the cash register.
“Seriously!” I snapped and I took the flowers away… surprisingly easily.
He smiled and then handed me a slip of paper along with the card. “Wunderbar, I wanted you to deliver this anyways.”
I stared at him, my mouth now wide open. Ludwig smiled slyly and Kiku was hanging out in back, having retreated there during our little fight.
Knowing that this wasn’t going to go anywhere, I sighed in defeat and stomped out of the shop. “Watch this-a shop for me, all right?” I closed the door and looked at the paper.
It was an address and it wasn’t too far from here. I decided that I could walk there.
I adjusted the flowers, wondering who Ludwig was delivering these flowers to. I looked at the buildings numbers, for I was getting closer to the address I was looking for, and there were tulips everywhere which made me think of her…
I got to the #123679- the house I was looking for. It was small, but very orderly and cute. I walked up to it, and for some reason, I felt nervous. I cleared my throat and then knocked on the door.
I heard barking and a cute voice yell, “Just a minute!” I smiled in spite of my somewhat gloomy mood.
Then the door opened slowly… I saw a very familiar figure appear… she was looking down at her dog and then when she slowly looked up at me with a somewhat sheepish smile…
It was her! My heart did a flip in my chest.
For some reason, she also gasped and her cheeks turned a very becoming red. “Oh… oh.. hello!” she smiled, trying her best to cover up her embarrassment.
“Ve~ uhm, hi, it’s a delivery…” I gulped as I handed her the bouquet of flowers. I felt my face burn as well. How in the world did Ludwig know her? And even worse… were they going out? I then awkwardly started to walk backwards so I could leave but then her hand shot out and grabbed my arm.
“W-w-wait!” she stuttered, her cheeks the same lovely rose red. “Don’t go… just yet…” she whispered, looking adorably shy.
“Ve…? Is there something-a wrong with the flowers?” I asked, confused.
“No… it’s just that…” she seemed to be trying to say something, until she finally stuck her hand out. “Hi, my name’s _______.”
I then laughed in spite of myself and took her hand. “Ve~ I’m Feliciano Vargas, but you can-a call me Feli..” I told her happily. I couldn’t believe this was happening!
“Uhmm.. you work at that flower shop… right across from the park… right?” she said shyly as she looked at the flowers.
“Ve~ yes I do, bella!” I told her happily.
She then looked up at me and then the card that Ludwig wrote on. “Wait just a minute…” she asked me, and then closed her door.
I waited outside her door, trying to process everything that had just happened. I remember telling Ludwig about her… but how did he? I wasn’t able to finish that thought since I heard her cheery voice say, “Okay, Feli!” I looked and saw that she was locking the door, and that she had changed her clothes. She was now wearing a pretty dress and one of the asters was behind her ear.
“..Bella?”
“Don’t girls who also reciprocated their lover’s feelings answer them by placing them somewhere on their person?” she smiled shyly, pointing at the flower.
That made me smile since she knew exactly what I meant by the bouquet. I nodded happily. “But, bella, where are you going?”
“Oh, Ludwig didn’t tell you what he wrote?” I shook my head and she laughed. “In the card he said that he’d lend you out for a special lunch date.”
“Ve..? Lend me??”
“Well.. he didn’t quite say it like that, but…”
I just laughed and then took her hand. “Let’s go have some pasta then..”
“Pasta? That’s my favorite dish!”
I knew this was the beginning of a beautiful relationship.

“Ludwig-san… who did you have Feliciano-san deliver those flowers to?” Kiku asked the blonde german as they walked to a meeting.
“Oh... just a friend of mine… someone I owed s favor…” he joked, but when he saw Kiku’s suspicious face, he laughed and said, “Don’t worry. It’s that girl that he was too shy to meet. I managed to bump into her at the gym one time and found out that she felt the same.”
“…I really hope they do fall in love with each other. That bouquet he made sure said a lot about how he felt for her.”
